Extreme Heat, Low Water

What a splendid image of Rezzonico off of Lake Como as shot by Alberta Mazzoletti! This looks like the kind of spot even I, with my dislike of high heat would love!.

Much of Europe is in the grip of a prolonged heat wave where temps near (and even way over) the hundred-degree mark are continuing. Gratefully, it will abate soon, but there is no major rain forecasted. 

For those Treasured Guests of mine who have been with me for almost 16 years now, you know I have been trying to steer you to traveling in Europe in the more temperate months such as Mar-May and Sep-Nov. I realize that many of you have children and school schedules play into vacation planning, but if you can squeeze out 10 days in these months you will have the time of your life!.
