Extreme Heat, Low Water

Much of Europe is in the grip of a prolonged heat wave where temps near (and even way over) the hundred-degree mark are continuing. Gratefully, it will abate soon, but there is no major rain forecasted.
For those Treasured Guests of mine who have been with me for almost 16 years now, you know I have been trying to steer you to traveling in Europe in the more temperate months such as Mar-May and Sep-Nov. I realize that many of you have children and school schedules play into vacation planning, but if you can squeeze out 10 days in these months you will have the time of your life!.
The prolonged heat wave sounds like a good reason to rethink when we travel, especially when there is little rain to provide relief. I also think extreme temperatures are worth considering from a health perspective, not just in terms of travel comfort.
