I have confirmed a small group sailing for the south of France for next June. The party will begin in Nice, France for those wishing to take an optional land extension on the French Riviera.

I have been very fortunate over the years to have marvelous drivers and I salute them - most notably Cathie Sheehan, who was fierce and fun on the road.

Our beaches are quite beautiful wrapped in snow. I hope YOU will escape the worst of this powerful weather system wherever you are.

While I'm mentioning La Serenissima (the most serene): once while my former Sweetheart and I were taking a gondola ride (gotta do it at least once, Folks), we were really enjoying ourselves but it was time to end the service.

One year when I was a young girl (must have been about 10 or so) I decided to save up the room in my stomach for Thanksgiving dinner. Where I got THAT idea, I'll never know.
