Long Walk, Worth Every Step
What a happy being frolicking in the sun in the Cape Henlopen State Park waters! Big thanks to Julie Danan for such a joyful image on a somewhat somber day of remembrance. Hard to believe our nation was under terrorist attack 25 years ago today.
Requests are coming in for Italy vacations for late Autumn and Spring of 2027 I'm grateful to report. Most are "first timers" but there are some return guests who are looking for new experiences.
I'm thinking that my next visit - gosh, it's been almost 2 years and I'm getting twitchy! - will likely be centered on Rome, Naples, and beyond. One stop I definitely plan on revisiting is the somewhat magical Civita di Bagnoregio, which is about 75 miles north of Roma (near Orvieto, another jewel to visit).
