The Big Tenor

How glorious this image of Lake Garda (above) is...especially on a rainy day such as we are having on the Delaware Shore. Thank you to Silvia Lodi for this luscious photograph.

It seems like just last week that I and some traveling friends spent a week in a lakeside villa on Lago di Garda. We visited so many cool places on that trip and our downtime was spent relaxing by a pool with lovely lake views (each bedroom had a lake view, too).

I bring this up because many of you are no doubt looking for a new destination that isn't mobbed with tourists in Italy. The lakes region is just the ticket and I'd be so happy to arrange such a journey for YOU.

Today I'd like to highlight an area a bit south from the lakes: the Emilia Romagna region. It's also known as the capital of the food district of the country.
