Above is a stunning shot of Lago Maggiore in Italy. I am so happy to send a family of 4 to stay on the lovely lake in the north of Italy later this month. Many overlook this gem for its flashy cousin, Lake Como. I don't send many folks to Como any longer unless it's way out of season - it just got too crowded for my taste.
Predictably, I follow many travel operators and influencers on social media. One of them came up with the apt term "zone of predictability" to describe the one-week window travelers have before they depart for their vacation.
