Wow! What a shot of Ocean City that local photographer, Dave Rhoten captured!


We've had rough seas and pretty big waves lately, but it looks like a pretty good weekend in store.



Now: on to a lovely sentiment expressed by one of my favorite travel partners in Italy. It is so beautifully put; I just had to share.


Autumn in Italy feels unlike any other time of the year. The heat softens, the light takes on a golden tone, and the country seems to exhale after the intensity of the summer. Vineyards are full of harvest activity, village squares come alive with local festivals like the one pictured below, and even the busiest cities welcome travelers at a calmer rhythm.
